Important reasons for the government to start dedicating more attention to the green energy transition of North Macedonia are air pollution and the depletion of coal and lignite reserves, amongt others.
In recent years, North Macedonia has been acknowledged for making efforts in regards to its energy transition, making visible the progress in aligning the country’s legal framework in accordance to the EU legislation.
